Browns Finally Beat The Steelers

Browns Finally Beat The Steelers

Oh, this is big for Cleveland!  Thursday night in a frigid cold stadium the Browns won 13-6 over the Steelers with a wonderful team effort.  The offense did enough to win and rushed successfully against the No. 2 ranked defense against the rush, the defense was stellar and special teams came through as usual.  The best part was seeing Big Ben get sacked EIGHT times and by different players.

Brady Quinn spread the ball around and avoided throwing any interceptions.  The Browns have improved dramatically on penalties too—there was only a combined total of 10 penalties in the whole game.

The fans who braved the minus 6 wind chill temperature to go to this game certainly deserved to see this big win.  This is the first time the Browns beat the Steelers in 12 games!  Cleveland is rocking today!  The icing on the cake is that this loss most likely will knock the Steelers out of the playoffs for this year!  GREAT GAME, BROWNS!  THIS WIN IS HUGE!  Congratulations to the coaching staff too who got the team prepared for this game in a short week.

I really hope Brady Quinn can stay healthy and be our QB for many years to come.  It does appear that he has been making progress and improving as he’s been playing more.  Josh Cribbs deserves a better contract—hopefully the Browns will give it to him.  Welcome Moore—he’s done an awesome job since joining the Browns.  Hopefully, Mangini will still be the head coach next year and the Browns can get some consistency going.
